Kuro was a little turtle with a big dream he wanted to fly. Every day, he would sit on a big rock, staring up at the sky and imagining what it would feel like to soar among the clouds. One day, his wish seemed possible when he met two kind doves named Dori and Dera. Kuro asked them for help, and the birds agreed. Dera brought a stick and told Kuro to bite down on it tightly. With Kuro gripping the middle of the stick and Dori and Dera flying on each side, the turtle was lifted into the air. Kuro was overjoyed. For the first time in his life, he felt like a bird, flying high above the ground. But Kuro became too proud and excited. He forgot Dera’s warning. In his excitement, Kuro shouted joyfully and the moment he did, he let go of the stick. He tumbled from the sky and crashed to the ground. This story teaches us a valuable lesson about humility and listening. Dreams can come true, but pride and carelessness can make them disappear just as quickly.
